Santa Barbara County Wind Advisory Alert Wind Damage

Santa Barbara County Mountains and Santa Barbara County South Coast property owners should be aware of wind damage to property. Fallen trees, roof damage and flying debris can cause damage to you and your property. Gusty northwest winds are expected across southern Santa Barbara County, especially through and below passes and canyons of the Santa Ynez Range, and the Interstate 5 corridor later today.

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon.

WINDS…North to northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph, strongest through and below passes and canyons of the Santa Ynez

Range. When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty cross winds.
